The Union was saddened to learn of the loss of Fr Jerry (Jeremiah) Lambe (Class of 1943)

Fr. Jerry  Lambe C.S.Sp. (Kimmage Manor and late of Swinford, Co. Mayo) died on 17th June 2021 in his 97th year. Missionary in Sierra Leone, France, St Augustine (Florida, USA) and St. Loman’s Hospital (Dublin). Son of the late Julia and Michael Lambe, Swinford, Co. Mayo. Predeceased by his brother Colm, sister-in-law Irene Lambe and nephew Colm (junior). Deeply regretted by his brothers Donal (1946)(Foxrock), his wife Anne and family; and Ray (1949) (Swinford) and family; sister-in-law Kathleen Lambe (Swinford) and family; grand-nieces and grand-nephews, great-grand nieces and great-grand nephews, extended family, friends, Spiritan confrères and wide circle of friends.

May he rest in peace.

In accordance with current Government guidance, a private Funeral Mass will take place at 9.30am on Saturday, 19th June 2021, which may be viewed on https://www.mcnmedia.tv/cameras/holy-spirit-parish-church-kimmage.

Burial in Dardistown Cemetery will follow.
