The Union was saddened to learn of the loss of Brendan Malone (1942)

MALONE, Brendan (Donnybrook, Dublin 4) October 11th 2021, in his 98th year. (Formerly Bank of Ireland) Peacefully, in the tender loving care of the staff and carers of Newtownpark House Nursing Home. Predeceased by his wife Carrs (Carmelia) sister Molly and brothers Jimmy (1938) and Dermot (1946). He will be sadly missed by his nieces Elaine (Tohill), Gabrielle (O’Neill), nephews James (1974), Gerard and Paul, grandnephews Mark (2005)  and Bryan (2010), grandnieces, great-grandnieces and sister-in-law Pat Fitzgerald and family.

 

Funeral Mass will take place at the Church of the Sacred Heart, Donnybrook, Dublin 4, on Thursday, 14th October, at 11 a.m. The funeral service can be viewed on the following link https://www.churchservices.tv/donnybrook or https://www.donnybrookparish.ie/webcam going thereafter for burial in Shanganagh Cemetery.

Please note current guidelines restrict the capacity of the Church to 50%, social distancing and mask wearing are also required. For those that cannot attend the funeral service, please leave a message of condolence on https://www.masseybrosfuneralhomes.com/funeral-notices/
