President of the Union Mr Stephen Mullin (1983) presented the awards to the Class of 2021

The President congratulated them on their energy and productivity but particularly on their resilience. He wished them well in their examinations and looked forward to welcoming them into the Union.

Torrential rain bouncing off the Sports Hall provided the soundscape for Thursday’s Prize Day 6th Year Ceremony.

This was the 161st occasion for presenting prizes to the top academics, musicians, debaters, performers, artists as well as those who gave service to the school community.

The most prestigious prize is the General Excellence award and this year’s recipient is the most worthy Alex Kelly.
