Great Results Class of 2020

Congratulations to the Boys, their Parents, Teachers and the whole school Community on these results. They have waited a long time and although inevitably, there are some disappointed they are excellent overall.

Amongst the many highlights:
• 21 Boys awarded over 600 points with 6 achieving the ‘perfect 625’
• 92 Boys (47.4%) scored over 500 points
• 134 Boys achieved over 450 points (69%)
• 166 attained more than 400 points (85.6%)

The results confirms the commitment, endeavour and expertise of our teachers, S.E.N. Department, Counsellors and Deans. The class of 2020 has responded positively in difficult circumstances.

We thank them for their leadership of the school. They have led with good humour and integrity. They have maintained the high standards set at Blackrock not just in the academics but also across the artistic, sporting, spiritual, social and pastoral domains.

Boys, as you pass on the baton, you should be proud of your contribution, your legacy.

WELL DONE - THANK YOU.

CLASS OF 2021 – IT IS OVER TO YOU.

Alan MacGinty
Principal
