Mark Colclough class of '83 will be the oldest Irish Male to attempt the English Channel

Hi to all fellow Rockers My name is Mark Colclough class of '83 fondly known as "Cokes". Sometime Between the 5th and 12th of July 2022 I will be the oldest Irish Male to attempt the English Channel a body of water separating England from France 33km (20.5 miles) wide raising awareness for those with Friedrichs Ataxia an incurable muscle degenerative disease. It has been a long 3 years training culminating in something I am so privileged to able to do at 57 years of age for my friends with Fredreich’s Ataxia who fight their Channel everyday ... you can follow everything on Cokes Channel Swim Facebook page or Instagram mark_cokes
