Congratulations to Christopher Hughes (class of 2015) on receiving the Robert Gardiner Memorial Scholarship Award and NUI Traveling Studentship in Science which will fund his PhD in the University of Cambridge in Applied Mathematics and Theoretical Physics. His research will focus on the quantum aspects of gravity (String Theory) and its physical implications, especially to cosmology.
