Brigid O'Byrne

It is with great sadness that I write to inform you that our wonderful administrator, colleague and friend Brigid O’Byrne, passed away earlier this week after a short illness.

Brigid joined the Union in 2017 and was invaluable to us across all of our activities, particularly our Reunions, the Business Lunch and our other events.  I know from the messages I have received that everyone who worked with Brigid was enriched by the experience -  quite simply, a wonderful person who will be missed enormously but not forgotten.

I will be representing your Union at Brigid’s funeral on Friday morning along with a number of recent Past Presidents.

Best regards

Robert Brophy

President, 2021/2022
